Jen and Glynis are both disabled being Lupus and Elhers Danlos suffers and are both also Dolls house enthusiasts.

It was quite by accident while renovating an old house that Glynis hand painted some furniture. It was admired by friends and associates much to her amazement, as She had not picked up a paint brush for years!

Jen's skills are also paramount with this partnership, all the hard work is Jens forte. We back each other through our illnesses.

So Howes of Prieur started. We have been fortunate to have a good supply of top quality furniture, the price of the cheaper furniture reflects the quality but the same effort is put into everything we do!

No piece is exactly the same as it is not possible to replicate the same finish with hand painted items! Every piece is unique to you and where ever possible we are always at hand to help you choose that special piece to finish your scene.

As most miniaturists know, making anything is a labour of Love, time and effort far outweighs any Costs but Jen and I feel that our disabled lives can be brought lots of pleasure by being Dolls House enthusiasts.
