 12th Scale Dolls

My name is Tina and I live on the North Essex coast with my husband, son and three cats, all of whom are actively involved in helping me with my miniatures. Four years ago, my husband bought me my first ever dolls house and I discovered the beautiful handcrafted dolls available.

Inspired by Julie Campbells ( Bellabelle Dolls) lovely work, I bought a lump of clay and had a go myself. I soon realised that its not as easy as it looks, there are many different skills involved in creating a doll, but somehow, each doll I made gave me the determination to stick with it and improve on the next one.

Its the most absorbing, time consuming, frustrating, enjoyable and rewarding thing Ive ever done! One of the difficulties involved in miniature doll making is finding suitable fabric and trims to dress them in. I managed to find a good source of mini print fabrics and tiny trims, so have recently opened a shop on my website where fabric, trims, dolls and other hand made doll house miniatures can be bought. Come and visit  us!
